Packaging overview
The aF4 ships in a main box with two smaller boxes tucked inside on either side of the main unit:
- Left side box — contains the tubing, coiled and attached to the aF4
- Right side box — contains the power supply
Unboxing steps
- Open the main box and carefully remove the aF4 main unit from its packaging
- Remove the left side box — open the top and pull the coiled tubing free, then slide the box off the tubing
- Remove the right side box — open and remove the power supply
- Locate the tank mount and cleaning tablet — these are packed inside the main unit, in the reservoir.
Take a moment to check all items against the list above before proceeding. If anything is missing or appears damaged, submit a support ticket before use.
A note on the tubing
The tubing comes coiled and attached to the aF4 from the factory. You do not need to connect or install the tubing — it is ready to use as shipped. Simply uncoil it carefully and route it according to your aquarium setup.
