Note: The aF4 when filled with slurry will weigh approximately 5.5 lbs! Required Tools</h2>Gather the following tools before attempting to install your aF4 shelf:<ol><li style="font-size: 16px;">Pencil for marking.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Level</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">T20 Torx Bit or Phillips Bit</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Drill</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">9/64 Drill Bit</li></ol>1. Using the Shelf Mount Plate as a template, place it against the surface where you would like to install the shelf and rest a level on the top edge to ensure its level.2. Mark the positions for the holes with a pencil.3. Using a 9/64&quot; drill bit, carefully drill pilot holes for the screws in each of the four marked locations. Tip: Mark the drill bit with a sharpie at a depth that will NOT punch through the thickness of the wood being used.4. Locate the 4 screws included with the shelf, and install them 75% of the way through the Shelf Mount Plate using the drill on a low setting or with a hand tool if you want to be extra careful. Over-tightening can crack the shelf!&#xA0;5. Once all 4 screws are installed about 75% of the way, fully tighten the top right corner, then the bottom left corner, then the top left corner and finally the bottom right corner.6. Test the shelf! Lightly press down on the shelf, it should feel solid. Try lifting the shelf up gently. There should be no movement at all. If your shelf is secure, install the aF4 - fan side facing out, the drain drawer is accessible on the cutout on the bottom of the shelf.
