My aF4 has a red blinking light.Updated 5 months ago

The red blinking light indicates that the aF4 detected a temperature fault and powered itself off for safety purposes.

This can be induced by incorrect temperature probe placement or by exposing the temperature probe to warm air for a short period of time while the aF4 is powered on.

Before continuing use, ensure the fan is spinning when powered up - it should never be totally still. It should not be making any rattling or grinding noises when spinning.  Using the aF4 with a damaged fan can cause permanent damage to the cooling components and require that the unit be sent in for service.

If you notice the fan is not spinning or sounds damaged, or detect warmth on the cooling ring contact support immediately for assistance in remedying the condition.
