Replacement Parts GuideUpdated 2 months ago
All replacement parts and accessories for the aF4 are available directly from indaquatics.com. This guide covers what's available, what each part does, and when you might need to replace it.
Replacement parts
Replacement tubing
The internal tubing is the primary wear item on the aF4. It runs through the pump housing and is in contact with the pump mechanism during every feed and clean cycle. Over time it will degrade, which can present as salt creep or leakage from under the pump, or condensation inside the clear pump head housing.
Replace tubing every 18 months to 2 years for single daily feeds, or annually for multiple daily feeds. See our Tubing Replacement Guide for full instructions.
Cleaning tablets
inD Aquatics cleaning tablets are formulated specifically for the aF4. They are non-toxic, safe for aquatic environments, and will not degrade the food-grade silicone tubing inside the unit. Use one tablet per deep clean cycle, biweekly to monthly.
Do not substitute with household cleaning products or third-party solutions — these are not tested for compatibility with the aF4's internal components.
Replacement fan
The fan draws air across the heatsink to maintain the cooling system. It should be replaced every 2–3 years, or sooner if it develops a rattling or grinding noise, stops spinning, or the unit begins overheating despite a clean heatsink.
See our Fan & Cooling System Guide for replacement instructions.
Power supply
The aF4 power supply is user-replaceable. If the unit is not powering on and the red LED above the power button does not illuminate when plugged in, the power supply may be the cause. See our Power Issues Guide for a full diagnostic before ordering.

Reservoir
The reservoir holds up to 200 mL of food slurry and houses the temperature probe and intake straw. If your reservoir is cracked, warped, or no longer seating correctly in the unit, a replacement is available.
Reservoir lid
The reservoir lid keeps the food slurry sealed and cold between feeds. If the lid is cracked, damaged, or no longer fitting snugly, replace it to maintain optimal temperature performance.
