<p>Every aF4 is covered for 12 months from the date of purchase, plus a 30-day grace period, against manufacturing defects and component failures under normal use conditions.</p><hr><h2 id="what-is-covered">What is covered</h2><p>The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, including failures of the following components under normal operating conditions:</p><ul><li>Solenoid assembly</li><li>Fan and cooling system</li><li>PCB and electronics</li><li>Power supply</li><li>Pump</li></ul><p>If your unit develops a fault that is not the result of physical damage, misuse, or improper installation, it is covered.</p><hr><h2 id="what-is-not-covered">What is not covered</h2><p>The following are not covered under warranty:</p><ul><li><strong>Physical damage caused by the user</strong> &#x2014; including drops, impacts, water ingress from improper installation, or damage from operating the unit in unsuitable conditions</li><li><strong>Damage from improper installation</strong> &#x2014; including failure to follow setup instructions, incorrect power supply use, or salt mist exposure from inadequate ventilation in sump cabinets</li><li><strong>Consumable wear items</strong> &#x2014; tubing, cleaning tablets, and other items that wear through normal use are not covered under warranty. Keep a record of your purchase date.</p><hr><h2 id="what-you-will-need-for-a-claim">What you will need for a claim</h2><ul><li>Your order number (if purchased directly from inD Aquatics) or proof of purchase (if purchased from a retailer)</li><li>The serial number of your unit &#x2014; found on the sticker on the underside of the aF4</li><li>A clear photo or short video demonstrating the fault</li><li>A brief description of the issue, when it started, and any troubleshooting steps you have already tried</li></ul><p>Our team will review your claim and respond with next steps. If the claim is approved, inD Aquatics covers the cost of return shipping. We will repair or replace the unit at our discretion and return it to you.</p><hr><h2 id="purchased-from-a-retailer">Purchased from a retailer?</h2><p>The warranty applies regardless of where you purchased your aF4. Warranty Policy

Return windows, eligibility and refunds for the aF4 and all other inD Aquatics products.

<p>If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we accept returns under the conditions outlined below.</p><hr><h2 id="return-windows">Return windows</h2><ul><li><strong>aF4 feeders &#x2014; 14 days</strong> from the delivery date</li><li><strong>All other products</strong> (accessories, replacement parts, consumables) &#x2014; <strong>30 days</strong> from the delivery date</li></ul><hr><h2 id="return-eligibility">Return eligibility</h2><p>To be eligible for a return the following conditions must be met:</p><ul><li>The return is requested within the applicable window above</li><li>The item is <strong>unused</strong> and in its <strong>original packaging</strong></li><li>All original contents are included &#x2014; for the aF4 that means the unit, power supply, tubing, tank mount, cleaning tablet, and quick start card</li></ul><p>Items that have been used, set up, or are missing original packaging or contents are not eligible for a standard return. If you have an issue with a used unit, please see our <a href="https://indaquatics.gorgias.help/en-US/warranty-policy-5452463" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Warranty Policy</a> &#x2014; we may still be able to help.</p><hr><h2 id="refunds">Refunds</h2><p>Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method, minus a 10% restocking fee. The restocking fee covers return processing and inspection costs.</p><p>Refunds are processed once the returned item has been received and inspected. You will receive a confirmation once the refund has been issued.</p><hr><h2 id="how-to-initiate-a-return">How to initiate a return</h2><ol><li>Start your request from your <a href="https://account.indaquatics.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">account page</a> within the applicable return window</li><li>Include your order number and the reason for your return</li><li>Our team will review your request and provide return instructions if approved</li><li>Package the item securely in its original packaging and ship it using the instructions provided</li></ol><blockquote><p><strong>Please do not return an item without requesting a return first</strong> &#x2014; unauthorized returns cannot be processed.</p></blockquote><hr><h2 id="purchased-from-a-retailer">Purchased from a retailer?</h2><p>If you purchased from a third-party retailer, their returns policy applies. Please contact the retailer directly for return and refund assistance. inD Aquatics is unable to process returns for items purchased through retailers.</p><hr><h2 id="damaged-on-arrival">Damaged on arrival</h2><p>If your order arrived damaged, let us know within 48 hours of delivery. Have photos of the damage and your order number ready.
